15 Months + 2 Weeks: Rainy Days
Hi everyone! It has been raining like crazy here, so we have been spending a lot of time indoors. here are a few pictures from last week and weekend!
Kenley's first day care ponytail - gotta look cute for Milo. :)
Christmas decorations are up!
"Uncle" Bill came to visit and read stories.
Reading stories with daddy.
On Saturday night we went to Kenley's day care for a holiday party with all the kiddos and their families. It was great to spend some quality time with the other moms and the teachers - I'm so thankful that our day care is committed to making the place feel like a "community"! On Saturday, we had our first very successful video-chat session with Grandma Karin and Papa Richard (and Paully and Spike the dog). It was very fun to sing songs, high five, and point to noses from 3,000 miles away!
After that, we braved the rain and head to the park to "swing"! (a new word).
On Saturday, we tried to go to the Greenlake Pathway of Lights holiday events, but it was pretty rainy!

On Sunday, Daddy left for a trip to Vegas so Kenley and I spent the day with Papa Bert!
Kenley is talking like crazy. She is singing along with the ABCs and started to move to phrases and sentences rather than just words. At day care she climbed on the table (another new skill) and said "I get up!" She's also saying things like "my daddy" and has learned to add "pease" to some requests - mostly when she really really wants something. :) She can say some body parts (head, nose, mouth, chin, ears) and is learning more animals (sheep!). She is moving so fast I feel like we can barely catch up! Hopefully we'll get some of it on video soon.
