Hi everyone! Our baby is 10 months old today! Time is certainly flying by... Last week was Great-Grandma week! In addition to our trip to California (which I already blogged about), we had a fabulous visit from Great Grandma Dorothy and Great Aunt Chris! They spoiled Kenley and us by helping out around the house. It was fun to see them, plus they got to visit Mom and Dad's new house. Uncle Chris breezed through too! Kenley got to skip out on day care most of last week, including when Grandpa Bert and Aunt Michal took her to the spray park in Mill Creek! Sounded like a blast! In fact, Kenley got to see Aunt Michal I think 6 out of 7 days last week - a great start to summer break! On Sunday we worked in the garden - here's Kenley helping momma with some planting and weeding. Kenley started waving this week (for real, with her wrist, not her entire arm)! She sometimes has a delayed reaction, but will eventually wave hi and bye to people. She also is pointing (and demanding)....

Hi everyone! We just returned from our trip to California! Michal, Kenley and I just went for 3 quick days to visit the Gedney family. We got to see Grandma Cay, Grandpa Chick, Chuck, and Cathie! We had a great time and all the traveling went smoothly. Here are some photos! Here's Kenley packing up her suitcase for the trip. She's excited! Hope everyone had a wonderful Fathers Day! Kenley has been busy this week, picking up some new tricks. She started to point and wave, in fact we think she's started pointing at things she wants, for example, tonight's berry and ice cream dessert at Grandpa Bert's house. She also started waving, which is more like a violent jerk of the arm which I am concerned may pull her arm out of its socket! She is also starting to stand alone without holding onto anything, as long as 20-30 seconds at a time! We had a great week and weekend. Here are some pictures: Kenley loves to play in the mirror.
