By Aunt MyMy Rachel, Kenley and I got to sneak in a quick trip to Orinda this weekend to visit some of our favorite people, Great-Grandma, Great-Grandpa, Aunt Cathie, and Uncle Chuck. Kenley is in her pajamas ready to sleep the whole way on the plane! Haha, good joke on Mama. At least we had an extra middle seat! Here is Mama reading "One Duck Stuck" and "Biscuit" for 2 hours straight. At least Kenley was very well behaved. She only tried to scamper down the aisle a few times... It was midnight by the time we arrived in Orinda, and we were worn out! I had to sneak this in. Even this face doesn't mean Kenley always gets her way.... After breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa, we headed off to the train station to pick up Aunt Cathie! Then we stopped by a waterfront park to enjoy the...view? It was cold, but there were lots of birds to chase... ...and rocks to throw! Kenley needs more hands so she can hold hands with all her favorite people! Back at the house, Uncle ...

Hello! Here are some cute pics from a pretty low key weekend! Sharing bottle with "the dat". We busted out the easel we inherited from Megan Y! Here is Kenley doing some water color painting (Thanks for the paint MaryEllen!). Playing with the potties (again). Drawing with markers! Tonight we had a potluck/playdate with our Centering friends! Parker, Kenley and Avery had fun playing together - Jillian had to stay home with a fever. :(

Hi everyone! We spent this weekend finding ways to have fun inside and out despite lots of rain! On Friday we got to see Shaina at her parent's house in Sammamish! Kenley loved watching videos of Shaina as a two year old, especially when Shaina said "no no no!" (KK's favorite thing to do). We are doing a month's worth of classes and open gym at gymboree in Ballard! Saturday was our second class. Kenley loves playing with all the balls, and mom and dad love giving her an opportunity to practice climbing and blow off energy in a safe place. Here she is getting ready for circle time! Climbing high! Basket! Parachute and bubbles! Here she is playing with rocks from our neighbor's yard. She loves to throw them down and say "plop!" "I don't know?" Kenley is 16 months old!! Accordingly, she acquired two new teeth (second on the right, second on the left on the bottom) - and we think more to come shortly! It was a loooooooooooong night for everyone. But, we were rewarded with a Seahawks win! Touchdown!!! Naked reading - the best way to do it.
