On Sunday, Bebe, Michael and I took Kenley to her first pool! She LOVED it and so did we! The pool is super great with warm water, infant toys, fountains and bubblers, and best of all, lots of other kids to watch and play with! Kenley took right to the water, even kicking and playing around a little! We will definitely be going back soon. We had a wonderful visit this weekend with Grandma Cay and Cathie, after the pool we met up with them, Marianne, and David for a great brunch (where we saw a grey whale right outside the windows of Anthony's at Shilshole!). Then we went shopping downtown! A great day! Kenley loves her Great Grandma Cay!

On Saturday we took Grandma Cay and Aunt Cathie to La Conner to see the tulips!! We enjoyed the tulips, shopped, and enjoyed a lovely lunch on the patio at a bakery!

Bebe is here visiting/moving! We are helping her get her house all ready for moving in! Here's the cleaning crew! Here's Kenley helping the best way she knows how - napping so everyone else can work! Here's Kenley at our favorite breakfast spot - sitting in her chair being very good during breakfast. We are still struggling with Kenley being a little sick, but hopefully she will recover soon. And now Michael got a cold (and Jason had it this weekend) - we sure love to share everything in this family! Exciting news - Kenley stopped making razzing sounds and started making consonant sounds! So far we have heard "ba" and "ma"! Quite the chatterbox. :) We are looking forward to a visit from Grandma Gedney and Aunt Cathie this weekend! Hope you all have a great week!

Hi everyone! Nothing too exciting to report - Kenley and I both had little colds so we kept it low key - we did a lot of cleaning the house and making baby food this weekend! Kenley is still scooting backwards - and working on getting up on her hands and knees! Twice tonight she got all the way up on her hands and knees and lunged forward. We'll see what she does next, but crawling really is just around the corner - batten down the hatches, as my mom says! Speaking of my mom, Bebe (Beth) is visiting on Wednesday for two weeks - very exciting! She'll hopefully get the keys to her new house on Thursday (Fingers crossed!)! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We took Kenley to see Dr. Cahn this week for her six month checkup! He thought she looked great! She is now 27 inches long and 14 pounds, 10 ounces. Only about a pound up from her last check up! She is now about 80th percentile in height and 20th percentile in weight, which he said was just fine, but we are going to start feeding her a little more. We introduced a nighttime bottle of formula, which she sucks down - and is helping her sleep a little longer. Anyway, other than that, not much to report except that she got a bunch of shots, which she took like a champ. Then Uncle Jason and Aunt Michal took us to the original red robin, which is closing at the end of the month! We enjoyed a beautiful sunny weekend in Seattle, reminding us why we love living here!! Friday we had a fun dinner with friends and too much red wine (oops!). Yesterday Michael had to work, so Kenley and I went to her first kids concert at our local community center - (Phinney) ...
