Hi Everyone! We celebrated Kenley's 11 month birthday on July 28! Wow! Here's our pink bear picture! Compare to six months and nine months . She's getting so big! And it is getting hard to have her hold still for the photo! The weather here has been BEAUTIFUL, so we have been spending a lot of time in the backyard. Here is Kenley playing in her squirty pool! We also went to the Greenwood Seafair parade, celebrated Sara Campbell's graduation and completion of the bar, had a cook-fest at Mom and Dad's house making a bunch of food for the freezer, and other good fun! I don't have any good pics of those events - but they were fun! Tonight, we celebrated Megan Young's 15th Birthday (which is on Tuesday). Happy Memorial Day! Kenley was 9 months old on Friday! Here is our picture for the month comparing her to the pink bear! Click here for previous pink bear photos! Kenley has been crawling all over, and now wants to stand! She has started standing up, letting go, balancing for about two to five seconds, plopping down on her bum, climbing back up and starting over again! We had a great weekend! On Friday, we had a great visit with Kelsey and Charles, visiting from New York! On Saturday, Rike and Duncan were kind enough to watch Kenley for the afternoon while we went to see Fiddler on the Roof at the Paramount in Seattle! On Sunday, we packed up to go to the Folklife Festival! It was a great chance to try our new backpack - see how awesome it is? Wow! Kenley is 6 months old today! I can't believe it, it feels like a big milestone. She has grown a bunch and become a little person - very far from the little alien baby we brought home from the hospital. It doesn't seem that long ago! I think we are (maybe?) finally used to the idea of being parents now. Today also marks our accomplishment of a big goal - we have made it six months feeding her only breastmilk and homemade baby food. No formula!- we hope to continue as long as possible. Here's our traditional pink bear comparison - wow! We're not sure how big she is, Kenley has a doctor's appointment at the end of the week. But she looks big! She got avocado for breakfast in celebration, then we went and hung out with Aunt Michal and Uncle Jason! How did you get under that chair? Kenley has learned to push herself backwards!
