Hi Everyone! Kenley took her first steps this week! She has mastered standing, including standing up without pulling up on something. On Tuesday, Michael and I noticed she would move just one foot forward in one tiny step. On Wednesday, Mom and I watched her take 8 steps! Not to be repeated again, although Thursday her teachers told us that she took a few steps at day care. Then, last night I saw four steps, and today I saw a few! So it is happening sporatically, but she is definitely heading in the walking direction! I'm not sure whether to be excited or nervous... but we are happy for our little girl! On Saturday, we celebrated one year since our pregnancy group with a party for all the babies' first birthdays. Seven families got together, and we had a good time catching up and of course comparing notes ("How do you do keep your baby from wiggling away while changing a diaper?"). Here are some pictures! Hi Everyone! We didn't take a lot of pictures this weekend, so this will be a short post. Daddy stayed home with Kenley so I could go to Shaina's bachelorette celebration at a lake house overnight on Saturday. My first night away from home was very fun, while Daddy and Kenley had a great time at home, including going on a walk at Carkeek Park and going to Bebe and Grandpa Bert's house for dinner with Uncle Steve and Uncle Jason. Kenley is getting better at standing and walking with the push truck every day, and last night she started taking one small step before plunking down to her bum or grabbing onto something nearby. The pitter patter of little feet are coming soon!! Also, Kenley is officially the oldest in the infant room at day care. The older, mobile babies either moved up to the "waddler" room or left to go to different day cares, leaving her behind - and a little bored. She busily cruises around the infant room all day, sometimes climbing up and over any ...

Here is a video of Kenley's new trick - dancing! She started doing it earlier this week, but on Wednesday we had some big band swing on at my parent's house and she just started shaking her booty! We had a goodbye visit from the South Dakota Kings on Tuesday before they headed off for home via Yellowstone. We took a few great pictures of all the cousins together! I also shot some video, so below is a sort of random compilation of all the boys and Kenley. Thanks for coming to visit guys, we had a blast! PS. Hi everyone! We have been very busy over the last week! We had more fun with the Kings early in the week, as the weather finally started to get warm and we got to go outside! On Tuesday after work, James grilled for us and we played in the backyard. On Wednesday, we piled the boys into the van and headed to Greenlake, where everyone swam in the lake and in the wading pool. On Thursday, we celebrated Jimmy's 13th birthday!!! To celebrate, James, Jimmy, Dakota, Hunter, Michael, Jason, and others headed out to Safeco field to enjoy a Mariners v. Yankees game!! Happy 13th Birthday Jimmy! Meawhile, Kenley and I headed to the Oregon Coast with Mom and Dad to the beach house! There, we met up with Michal, Mary and Megan. Michael and Jason met up with us on Friday. Hi everyone! We have had a crazy weekend, as James (Michael's brother), Tiffany, and their four boys are here visiting from South Dakota!
