8 Months + 3 weeks - Stand By Me
Hey everyone! Here are some cute pics from this week!
On Friday, I SAW Kenley crawl three or four steps when I picked her up at day care. Sadly, she did not do it again the whole weekend. Although she is pulling herself up - on anything and everything! Including in the middle of the night, Michael went to grab her at 2:00am and found her standing in her crib staring at him!
Here she is on Friday at Bebe and Grandpa Bert's house! Don't let her fake you out, she just LOOKS like she is crawling.
We finally dropped the level of her crib. Here she is playing in it!
Standin' up!
Much better. No climbing for this baby.
Here are Kenley and Michael playing at our friends Katy and Marcus's house. Everybody loves football! August is just mere months away!
What do you think, Daddy, will the huskies make a bowl game this year?
How about them seahawks?

We must give Bebe a shout out for some awesome Kenley-sitting this week. She watched Kenley so we could enjoy dinner out for our friend Rike's birthday on Wednesday night and she snake-charmed Kenley right to sleep! On Saturday, we decided to take Kenley to the family room at our local theater where we usher to see 42nd Street - Kenley slept perfectly in Bebe's arms through the whole first act! Baby's first musical! This amazing babysitting may not seem like such a feat to the casual reader, but Kenley is going through a stranger fear phase has been very tough with ... well ... anyone besides us and her day care teachers, so we are very relieved that mom has worked her magic on Kenley. But, after her first month in Seattle, Bebe is off returning to DC for her back East stint. We will miss her while she is gone!
Also, Kenley has learned another talent - spitting her food out! She will take a bite of food and then make raspberries, spraying it all over the unwary feeder. We can't help but laugh! It is pretty gross though.
Have a great week!
